Masturbation is a sexual act in which a person tries to achieve sexual pleasure alone. Once this addiction takes hold, it becomes very difficult to break. It may provide temporary happiness but its harmful effects are long-lasting. As it is easy to visit pornographic video sites, the level of masturbation among young people is increasing day by day, which is very disappointing.

• Serious harm that can be caused by masturbation:

Although people masturbate in the hope of happiness, it is not actually happiness. Because the best way to get real sexual pleasure is to have sex between men and women. So those who leave the right path and want to get sexual pleasure in the wrong way, they harm themselves. Excessive masturbation sometimes disrupts sex life. There is even a possibility of genital paralysis due to masturbation. Below are the harms that can be caused due to excessive masturbation is-

1) Rapid ejaculation.

2) Dilution of semen and inability to control it.

3) For some, the clothes get damaged due to metal disease or slight excitement.

4) Memory decreases.

5) The beauty of the face is lost and the impression of old age emerges.

6) Eyesight decreases.

7) Increased heart rate and short panting.

8) The mind does not sit in any work.

9) Urinary tract infection complications, frequent urination.

10) The penis becomes weak and dull.

In addition, becoming addicted. Due to the amount of physical and mental weakness caused by excessive masturbation, many people do not eat enough nutritious food. If this continues for a long time, a terrible problem will arise. Sexual energy goes to zero. On the one hand, masturbation is a sin like poets, on the other hand it is a destroyer of youth. So keep yourself away from this bad habit.

• What the Shariah says about masturbation:

The name of a complete way of life that is very natural and realistic is Islam. This religion provides clear solutions to every problem of human life. As such, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has prescribed a method for man to fulfill his biological desires – ‘And those who restrain their sexual organs; But they will not be reprimanded if they are not restrained in the matter of their wives and owned maids. Then whoever desires other than these, they will be transgressors.’ Surah Al Muminun: 5, 6 and 7

However, not all of these solutions may appeal to some. Those who have weak faith or those who have no faith, they will not be able to obey all the laws of Allah. But God’s law will not change for anyone. If someone wants to have sexual pleasure outside of the instructions given by Allah, then he will be guilty.

Masturbation is an act, which means polluting oneself. It is a heinous sinful act. Masturbation is a secret sin, which people commit like a thief and are ashamed to reveal. Rasulullah (s.a.) said – ‘The best character is full. And that which causes you to be troubled and which you do not like to be revealed to people, is a sin.’

Surely no one would like to masturbate in public. So it can be understood from this hadith that masturbating is not a complete act. Even then, about those who indulge in secret sins, Allah Ta’ala says – ‘On that day I will put a seal on their faces; Rather, their hands will speak to me, and their feet will testify about what they used to achieve.’

– Surah Yasin, verse 65

Sexual desire is like hunger. Just as hunger is the need for food, men and women also have sexual needs when they reach a certain age. Although all these inventions are intended for human welfare, as a result of their misuse, people are getting involved in various types of wrongdoing and obscenity. Which is leading the growing youth to commit more wrongful crimes. Nowadays, with the availability of mobiles and internet, young people can access pornographic sites very easily. As a result, they become addicted to watching porn. At the same time, he is involved in heinous crimes like masturbation. Excessive masturbation leads to severe physical and mental harm. So it would be wise to get rid of this addiction as soon as possible. Mentioned below are some ways to get rid of this terrible crime:

1) All obscene videos should be deleted from mobile and computer and obscene sites should be blocked.

2) Get married as soon as possible. Because there is no better way to masturbate.

3) Get out of bed when excited and go for a walk.

4) Do not sleep while naked.

5) Pray regularly.

6) Stay away from various negative thoughts and bad thoughts. Protect vision as much as possible.

7) Choosing religious friends.

8) Cultivate the habit of asking for forgiveness by performing Tahajjud prayers, because these evil deeds are more likely to occur late at night.

9) Avoid touching the pubic area as much as possible.

10) Zikr while sleeping or reciting Quran on mobile phone.

11) Keep yourself busy with some work. If there is no work, pass the time by reading Islamic books.

12) Keep in mind that your wife may engage in extravagance if the sexual power decreases as a result of masturbation.
